使用注意[编辑]
英语的专有名词一般前面不加冠词，也不加表示极限的修饰语，而且大多数首字母都大写。但也有例外：如有的前加冠词（the Netherlands），有的首字母不大写（kd lang），而且有些普通名词首字母也大写（European）。部分辞书错误地称普通名词和专有名词可以靠首字母大小写来区分，这是不正确的。
